So let me give you all a re-cap of all that has happened lately in the crazy life of Courtney Crockett.
I moved home May 5th from Ephraim after spending my first year at college there at Snow. (what a wonderful year it was!) And now it was time to start summer! Josh came home May 10th, and it has been WONDERFUL having him home. After he arrived home all my responsibilities started awakening, and let me tell you all.. they are very much alive. haha. I have 5 jobs that I am juggling- and they are:
1: Orthopedic sales rep- This takes up most of my time, and energy.
2: Para Educator/ CNA for a beautiful little special needs girl.. (aka special needs summer school)
3: Swim instructor & have been subbing for other instructors, & taking on many private lessons.
4: I also am a lifeguard, and right now I am just subbing whenever I can fit in a shift.
5: Wedding/ Portrait photographer- this is my pride & joy!
Ya... life is very interesting.. But I am very dedicated to making it through school without any student loans for as long as I can! And I know the Lord has truly blessed me with so many ways to make money, and to make all the ends meet. I know he has had a huge hand in all of my successes.
So back to the update of the summer... I was able to go to girls camp this year, and not just as a YCL, but as a LEADER!! woo. This year we were evacuated from the mountain on our second day up there at 4:30am... and that was not a fun surprise to be woken up to, but we were able to get off safely, and find another place to camp for the week. And let me just say it was a BLAST! We were able to go boating, crafts, river rafting, and so much more. It was truly an adventure that will never be forgotten!
A few weeks later was our annual family trip to Lake Powell!!! This year I was able to bring my roommate from Snow with us! (Cassidy Clegg!) The week was so much fun, and Cassidy and I were able to become alot closer. The weather was perfect except for the last two days- in which it rained a little and was a little cloudy, but we still made the best out of it! Overall the trip was great and it makes me love Lake Powell even more every time I am able to go!
So far this summer has been great! There have been some bumps and bruises on the way, but hey that's life for ya! I hope you all are having a GREAT summer vacation! And hopefully I will be able to keep up with this blogging business.. hahaha! Until next time.....PEACE!
